Just watching some archived performances from KCRW's "Morning Becomes Eclectic". I highly recommend:
Silversun Pickups - The band sounds great, and it's fun to watch Brian (singer) try to contain himself and stand in one spot the entire time.
Honeycut - Bart gets funky in his argyle sweater. It's nice to see one of SF's local up-and-coming bands get some exposure.
Brandi Carlile - Recommended if you like powerful, emotional, melodic folk a la Patty Griffin, which I do.
The problem with blogging infrequently is that you start accumulating several little things you want to blog about, then you get paralyzed and intimidated by the thought of writing the Really Big Post that covers them all.
I saw Imogen Heap play an incredible full band show at the Warfield last night. I'll post a review on SFist this week, but in the meantime you can watch her performance on Letterman.
Speaking of, I don't think I'll make it to see Silversun Pickups again on Wednesday, but I did see their incredible performance on Letterman last Friday.
