Time to make the donuts

Brad and I carpool to work every morning, and a couple of weeks ago I jokingly said "time to make the donuts" as we were pulling into the parking garage. Brad had no idea what I was referring to, so he didn't find my joke to be very funny.

I tried searching YouTube for the ancient Dunkin Donuts commerical I was referring to, but I couldn't find it. I mentioned it to Steve today and he found one within minutes. So I had to share it:

How is that even possible, that Brad has never heard "time to make the donuts"? J

Obviously Brad is not American. Quite possibly he's never lost his beef either!

I totally loved that commercial!

I heart the "time to make the donuts" commercial! And it's very much a part of my upbringing. But remember another commercial that was popular around that time, it was the Puppy Chow Chuckwagon commericals? "Yah! Yah!" Also, I apologize in advance for this but "Where's the beef?" came from the same era.
