I'm posting this because:

The Cars always put a smile on my face, so hopefully this song does the same for you.
I love the intro to this song.
I think "I don't mind you coming here and wasting all my time" is an incredibly romantic thing to say to someone.

Oh man... Such an underrated band, and this is one of my favorite songs ever. Otis and I both loved to disrupt our band practice by spontaneously playing this, and there was pretty much nothing anyone could do to stop us.

Kimberly, I think The Cars are universal, or I'd like to think they are. And "SotD" is probably a misnomer, maybe I should have called it "SotW"!

I've always loved this song. "It's not the perfume that you wear/ it's not the ribbons in your hair."--It was lines like these that made an awkward high schooler feel a little better and a little more hopeful.
