I have just returned from the Virgin Islands where we have a lot of "shaved ice". One of the names we give them is "snow cones." There are other more local names but I can't remember right now. The memory of the hot sun is still piercing my head. Oh yes. A local name is "freco(s)." That's what we called it during my childhood. So a picture is really worth one thousand words.
