Moving Blog: Update #2

I decided to do a video blog about my move. You can see the first video on my main blog, art is the new religion, but since update #2 is hosted on Vox, here it is:

Oh, this is a GREAT idea! Doesn't hurt that you're cute and have a good voice.

In my experience, clothing (esp shoes) make GREAT souvenirs!

Yea for Motorcycle Safety Class! I keep thinking about signing up for that - just for the knowledge/skill. If you don't like it, there's always the city share cars (I think Steve/POP signed up for them).

I never would have thought of baby hangers - that's brilliant!

Re boxes: a friend, a billion years ago, packed all her small boxes with stuff like kids toys/pillows/blankets, etc. She packed the GIANT box (about 3'x3'x3') with her china, glass, and breakables. Not smart - gazillion pounds of breakables all in one box. Doh!!

Hey, I just watched your whole video. It was the first time I'd ever watched a video blog before. It was kind of strange seeing a person I know as a tiny square member image moving around and talking. I liked it, though.

Hooray for car selling! When I moved to NYC the first time, I took my car to CarMax to sell it (before the move) and it was totally painless. I've never regretted escaping car ownership.

Good idea with the videoblog, I like paging through my old posts maybe once a year to see how I've progressed, but I think it would be even cooler to have video posts. Maybe I'll follow suit.

I loved getting to hear your voice and see you talking about moving. You rock, I'm so excited for you with this next big move :) I wish I was nearby, i have a wonderful assortment of small boxes that I just couldn't make myself throw away because I know I'll need them SOMETIME! :D
