Don't judge yourself based on tulips. They never behave no matter what you do. Judge yourself on roses. If you can't arrange roses, then you have no future in flower arranging (hopefully that marketing career is working out for you).
put a penny in the water..something about the copper makes them not get so droopy...yes, of all the things my dad (botanist) taught me about plants, that's what i remember
