I've wanted to read this ever since taking a look at the synopsis when we started the latest TypePad promo.

That's the title of one of my favorite Belle & Sebastian albums. I didn't realize it was a novel. A must-read, now. Did you like it?

For the most part I enjoyed reading it, but it wasn't my favorite book ever. I'll read anything about music & relationships. :)

Hmm, did I like it? Well, I'll read anything about music & relationships, so it was a must-read for me. There were parts I really liked - some of his writing techniques were great and I enjoyed the gentle 'suspense' of the way he organized the plot. But some aspects of the book totally turned me off. So, proceed with an open mind. :)
